EDGE-AI

Edge-AI is a Chips JU project started in 2022. Here Xtremion plays a key role in  ensuring that user experience and usability remain central within the Digital Industry Value Chain.

 

As a key initiative for Europe’s digital transition, EdgeAI integrates microelectronics, AI, embedded systems, and edge computing to develop next-generation intelligent processing solutions. Xtremion focuses on making these technologies accessible, intuitive, and seamlessly integrated into real-world applications, facilitating adoption across industries. By emphasizing human-centric design, usability, and trust, we contribute to making Edge AI a viable and scalable alternative to legacy centralized solutions, unlocking the full potential of AI at the edge while aligning with Europe’s Green Deal and digital transformation goals.

ECOMOBILITY

EcoMobility is a Chips-JU project started in 2023. Here Xtremion plays a key role in Supply Chain 5 (Smart Cities) ensuring that user-centric design and seamless integration drive the transition towards a service-centric, connected mobility ecosystem.

 

By prioritizing usability, accessibility, and public acceptance, Xtremion helps to bridge the gap between technological advancements and real-world adoption. Our focus is on enhancing trust, safety, and efficiency in smart mobility solutions by facilitating intuitive interactions between users, vehicles, and infrastructure. Through human-centric design, we contribute to making electrified, autonomous, and AI-driven transportation solutions more adaptable, inclusive, and aligned with Europe’s sustainability and Vision Zero road safety goals.

H2TRAIN

H2TRAIN is a Chips-JU project started in 2024.  As one of the main initiators of this initiative, Xtremion is a leading force in the Intelligent Assisted Sport Coaching (IASC) use case, ensuring that human-centric design, usability, and accessibility remain at the core of next-generation AI-powered sports performance systems. By integrating edge-to-cloud computing and IoT biosensors, the IASC solution enables real-time tracking of athletes’ health, performance, and environmental conditions. Xtremion’s role focuses on optimizing user experience and interaction, ensuring that athletes, coaches, and medical professionals can seamlessly access and interpret data-driven insights for personalized training, injury prevention, and enhanced decision-making. Through advanced AI-driven analytics and secure IoT connectivity, H2TRAIN paves the way for scalable solutions, strengthening the integration of sports science, e-health, and digital well-being in everyday life.

EU-TRAINS

EU-TRAINS is a HORIZON project started in 2024.  Xtremion, as the main promoter and co-technical leader, is driving the development of a 100% made-in-Europe supply chain for biomechanical and cardiovascular monitoring sensors in fitness and healthcare. The project integrates smart-textile biosensors, miniaturized devices, and AI-powered edge-cloud processing to enable real-time health and performance monitoring. Xtremion ensures user-centric design and seamless usability, making these technologies accessible and practical.

 

By developing versatile, textile-integrated systems and AI-driven remote diagnostics, EU-TRAINS enhances precision, reliability, and resilience in on-air and in-water applications. It supports active lifestyles, rehabilitation, and remote healthcare, providing affordable, intelligent bio-sensing solutions for a broad audience, including individuals with disabilities. Xtremion ensures that European innovation translates into scalable, impactful technologies for health, well-being, and digital transformation.

TWIN-LOOP

TWIN-LOOP is an HORIZON project started in 2025. Xtremion plays a key role, ensuring software-defined electric vehicles (EVs) are user-friendly, secure, and efficient. By integrating Digital Twin (DT) and TwinOps technologies, we enhance energy optimization, hardware cost reduction, and system resilience across the EV lifecycle.

 

Our focus is on improving usability and user engagement, ensuring intuitive, data-driven tools for drivers and fleet operators. With MyEV Digital Twin Modules, we enable real-time monitoring, power range forecasting, and predictive maintenance, making EVs smarter and more adaptive. Xtremion ensures that TWIN-LOOP innovations translate into real-world benefits, shaping a more connected and efficient future for electric mobility.
